Olivia Hodson - About Me

I'm a classically trained, award-winning actress and filmmaker based in Boston/NYC.

My acting career began in regional theatre where I worked on a variety of classical and contemporary pieces which lead to originating roles in both national and world premieres. During this time, I was also an active singer and voiceover artist - training with acclaimed private coaches. In 2021, I decided to relocate from my hometown of San Diego to New York City fully committing to deepening my craft. Most notably, I studied at The William Esper Studio; intensely focusing on the Meisner Technique for several years before graduating in 2023.

After my time at the studio, I've come to discover a more rounded passion for filmmaking and I started writing my own stories. With extensive experience as an actress, I approach cinema with a physical and spiritual passion, theme and relatability through the complex humanity of the characters.

Mixing my mature reverence for craft with a youthful imagination my aim is to inspire personal renaissance upholding timeless truths and beauty.
